Scott McNew, CCIM, SIOR
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Scott E. McNew is the Chief Executive Officer of Tradd Capital, Inc., where he leads strategic direction and corporate growth across Tradd’s integrated group of investment and service entities. With over 30 years of real estate experience, Scott focuses on business development, corporate leadership, and building long-term partnerships across key markets in the Carolinas. His expertise spans industrial, office, and retail properties, as well as association management and project development.
Active in the real estate community, Scott has served as a Real Estate Commissioner for the State of South Carolina, founder and Chairman of the Commercial Investment Division for the Coastal Carolina Association of Realtors, and a member of the Advisory Board for the Center for Real Estate and Economic Development at Coastal Carolina University. He has been honored with the National Association of Realtors Commercial Achievement Award.
Before launching Tradd in 2005, Scott was with Prudential Burroughs & Chapin Realty, Inc., where he received numerous performance accolades, contributed to the development of a multi-county business park, and was named Agent of the Year in 2002. Alongside a team member, Scott was nationally recognized within the Prudential Commercial Services network, ranking #1 in the nation in 2005 and #2 in 2004 for commercial production. From 1992 to 1996, Scott served as Senior Sales Analyst for the Horry County Assessor’s Office, where he developed capitalization rate programs, neighborhood coding schemes, and valuation models for hotels and golf courses.
Scott holds both the CCIM and SIOR designations, is a licensed broker in North and South Carolina, and was previously a Certified General Appraiser in South Carolina. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Management from Clemson University in 1991. In addition to his real estate career, Scott served as the moderator for the properties committee and session member at First Presbyterian Church of Myrtle Beach and is currently a member of First Presbyterian Church of Greenville.
