Maintenance Technician Job Description
Tradd Facilities, in conjunction with Tradd Management, is a regional property and facilities management company serving the Carolinas. We are hiring a maintenance technician to serve in Greenville, SC. Please submit an application and resume to careers@traddmanagement.com.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform and document preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs
- Troubleshooting of mechanical systems
- Housekeeping and grounds work as requested
- Track inventory and supply needs
- Communicate status of service requests via work order system
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Ability to take direction from others
Machines, Equipment, Tools Used:
- Knowledge of ladder, dolly, safety equipment, landscaping tools, hand tools, power tools, cleaning equipment/supplies and painting equipment/li>
Physical Requirements:
- Bending, kneeling, stooping, pushing, and pulling required
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders over 10 feet
- Ability to ride a lift over 30 feet
Minimum Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Maintenance experience required
- Computer competency required
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written required
Additional Desired Qualifications:
- HVAC certification preferred
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift Monday thru Friday
- On-call emergencies and occasional nights/weekends
